What is this part for and how to place it back ??
Hi -
So today when I was looking around the car I noticed that the rubber gasket that goes above the radiator was hanging in front of the radiator. What is the purpose of this gasket and what is the best way to place it back ? #14 in the image Last edited by spunk; 08-22-2017 at 10:19 PM.. |

It looks like the upper radiator seal, it's so the air goes through the radiator, and not around it.
Does this look like it? https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...g/17517600544/

Thanks !
So it looks some what like that. Here is the exact picture - https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-1...uine-bmw-part/ . I just tucked it between the radiator and the frame to create a seal. Not a perfect fit but couldn't find any other positioning for it. Thanks again guys. Last edited by spunk; 08-23-2017 at 08:57 PM.. |

Looking at the partnumber it looks like it goes on the side :/ ? Look at number 4 (Radiator Support Panel Upper Seal)
