Split folding rear seat swap question

My 2011 335xi didn't come with a split folding rear seat. Would I be able to just swap out the backrest and side padding for a split one? Or do I have to replace the seat bottom as well.

You have to replace the bottom cushion as well. Unfortunately. And don't forget all the hardware.
