Thanks for sharing. I was super excited about the thought of driving a lap at Louden in the M6, but then I read the wording a little more carefully:

"Join us for exhilarating driving experiences on the competitive track featuring the 340i, 440i, 540i, M240i, and VIEW our sleek M4 Coupe and M6..."

Still, great to know about it. I never get stuff like this from my local dealer.

Went to this today and it was fantastic. If you ever have the chance to go to one of these....just go. Was a lot of fun, even though not driving "m" cars. I'm really impressed with the organization of the event - 2 hours doing a 45-ish second autocross course in M240s and 2 hours on track (part road course, part oval at NH speedway) "following the leader" in 540 and 340's. Then lap the track in M6 or M4 (comp pack) with a professional driver hitting 126...They are all impressive cars all around. If you ever have the chance to go to one of these events just go. You are sick, have a bad splinter under your fingernail, use up your "earned time"....call your boss and tell her/him you just came down with dysentery from the village well....whatever it takes just go....what a blast. Thank you BMW! Enjoyed every minute of it. Spend 1/2 a day with other BMW/car nuts...

Most definitely did. Thanks for the heads up! One interesting note is that the 340's with their M-performance exhaust sounded WAY better to me than the M4 comp pack....wish they had the M4 with the MPE for comparison.

Agreed! Also, after driving the 2,3&4 series back to back that new 5 definitely felt like a boat on the track.

The 540i is a great car but you could really feel the extra weight. With that said I really enjoyed the track and I look forward to going again
