You can do what you want but I would highly recommend you use your low beams at night

Yes the cops will love that. It's also a sure fire way too make sure you don't see some random animal running into the street till the last possible second. There is a reason why we have headlights and HALOS for DAYTIME running lights. Daytime is a big clue to what their use is for.

the halo lights are just DRL lights and do not provide functional light to the road. It would not be recommended to just just them and would be be very dangerous as well.

well i dont drive with it (however if you have HIDs in there you can see quite well)

Personally I coded the angel eyes to be my DRL and did the corner signal light delete when the headlights are on (looks cleaner IMO)
