Hello,

Just wandering if anyone has had the ESS N52 super charger fitted in the UK?

I asked this a while back and they said they are thinking about it for the N53. They said that gains could be expected to be better due to the direct injection setup.

It was about a year ago though and I havent heard since.

It would be cool to have a supercharged 330i though!

What's the point? Just buy a 335 and save yourself a load of cost and hassle?

Because its quicker and cheaper to bolt a supercharger onto a car I have already spent a lot in maintenance and modifications, than buy a 335i (E90 shape and manual) and do the maintenance and modifications all over again.

Also more importantly I want a supercharged car, not a turbo charged car.

Definitely get a 335i. The n52 is a block built for low weight. The n54 engine can take alot more abuse.

Why do you want supercharged over turbo charged?

Simply because I've never owned one.

Anything is possible given the time and money and it would be a nice project to see happen.

But if it's just a want to own a supercharged car get a R53 Mini Cooper S, they're great fun and very tuneable.
