my bmw remote app keeps crashinv

hi guys the my bmw app keep crashing everytime i open it. i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck.

i have a samsung s7 edge. any ideas?

Mine always does and have the same phone. I think it's not happy with latest version of Android and they havnt released a new one yet.

Currently search and send to car not working either for me.

Android here too

All functionality is working but as you describe it often crashes as soon as I open it but is ok on second boot

There are 2 different android apps, 1 keeps crashing on my Samsung s8, the other 1 is fine and works OK

Wellwell transpires I did have the newer one installed but didn't move the short cut so have been battling on with the old one...

New one doesn't crash... doh!

seems to be something to do with location gps. if i turn location off it works. but i only use the app to send location to car...

While using the bmw remote app, are you still opening many other applications? Is the storage space of the Samsung s7 edge sufficient? After clearing the cache and data, is the issue of bmw app keep crashing still there? Have you tried erasing the Android cache partition and moving the app to the SD card?
