Headlight upgrade

Any suggestions in the best upgrades for headlight on an 2011 e90 sedan? I have the halogen headlights but looking for the HID look

Either get a local vendor to customize for you, or get a set of depos online. If depo, you may want to consider a projector upgrade too. Apparently they're not great in those lights.

I think a user called fishcake sells depo on eBay.

I suspect this is true for LED but not sure, but putting HID in halogen reflectors is illegal and blinding to oncoming traffic. Usually you'd need to retrofit projectors first before going the HID (and possibly LED) route.

HID is so bright, i wouldnt do it. But led isnt that bright
No you dont, oem halogen bulb use H7, if you direct swap it with a led h7 it will work.

The connector will work, I'm talking about the light output.

Even an HID H7 kit can be plugged in to a halogen housing. Won't stop it from blinding people (or getting a ticket in some cases)

Depends on which LED bulbs you use. Cheap eBay ones won't be too bright but might still piss off oncoming drivers.

Good quality ones can be as bright as HID (or brighter).
