Sidemarker replacement - what did you do?

I have an Alpine White pre-LCI 335 e92, and my OEM sidemarkers (probably original) are yellow and grimey looking. I am looking to replace but not finding many good options so wondering what you all have done:

(I also have amber LEDs so just looking to replace housing)

- There is the OEM replacement route, which I am leaning towards right now, but I was hoping to pay less than $30 per side.

- Aftermarker options:
--- I see the F10 replica ones on Amazon/eBay, but the black or chrome housing which stick out like a sore thumb on AW. Avoiding all chrome stuff.
--- There are smoke OEM replacements but I have nothing smoke right now and prefer clear on AW.
--- Then there are a bunch of M3, M sport, looking ones with fins and gadgetery that look cheap and poser-like (IMO, of course)

What have you all used in this scenario?

Use some elbow grease and polish them out then hit them with a coat of wax or sealant or buy new. They can be found for $20-25 each for OEM.

Wow that does look new. Any details you can share on how you did it or what you used?

Did the same to mine as they were yellowing.

Came out looking brand new. Used some Meguiars Scratch X remover that I had laying around with a buffing pad attached to a drill.

I've done the same with mine using meguiars M205 and they came out great. I think you'll be happy with the results.

Believe it or not, mother's wheel polish works great as well. Just make sure to put some kind of sealant on it

Many thanks all. I went with the running compound followed by meguiars plastic polish. Looks as good as it can get w/o replacement. I even used some factory touch up paint to coat the very edge of the housing which was a disgusting form of gray. Now the edge blends into the fenders.

The only ones that actually look good, in my opinion are the Depo LED ones. They match the front OEM turn signals in colour perfectly and look extremely OEM on the car. I hate the F10 or the other aftermarket ones, they look horrible.

These are what I have. They look great on alpine white and are plenty bright. If you’re going to go aftermarket, I’d go with these.
