I'm no Canuck, but haven't had a problem in Australia.
Something didn't arrive, but the claims process refunded the money.

You get what you pay for.

Got a set of replica M pedals for like $15. Took a long time to get here but no problems with it.

Over the past few years, I've bought a lot of stuff off aliexpress (well in excess of 50 separate shipments).
Except for 1 item, all the other shipments have always arrived - although sometimes way longer than expected (several over 2 months).
I got a full refund on the "lost" item. The payment is held in escrow by aliexpress until you confirm receipt, so if you don't get it or get something that doesn't match what you ordered, you get a refund.
Very safe site.
