How to remove lower trunk trim to install dynamat

As title states, I ordered dynamat to fill the trunk with it. I would like to know where can I find a step by step guide on how to safely remove everything to get to the bare metal of the car. Considering the battery is in the back, I'm assuming it's a bit more complicated than other cars.

It's a lot of plastic pop rivets.. Get some plastic automotive trim tools, and a set of torx bits (their are two on top of the trunk mat if i remember correctly).

That should get you 90% of the way there, and just start pulling. I did some 80mil mat in my trunk, but i did not rip out the battery and such. I put it on any accessible open metal surfaces, and i took out both of the side trunk liners to get some more metal there.

Just a little, not worth the time and money in my opinion.

thanks

Thanks for the reply. I have some Dynamat left over from a MINI project (BIG benefit there) and was wondering if it was worth the effort. Thanks again.
