Can anyone recommend a good place to get it sorted in the Newcastle area?

Century Auto Refinishers in Middlesbrough is the best place if you are willing to travel just down the road. The owner Phil is a top guy. I would only ever use them on my car.

I used chips away just over the Newburn bridge on my mercury grey car with a similar scuff. Excellent repair and unnoticeable.

Stratstone BMW at Silverlink if you want a SMART repair and for it to look good as new.
