It reminds me of a 6 series. Looks good though!

If they only change the grill, mirrors, and taillights, BMW will have a grand slam. Those unfortunately will all be revised and some.

the muscular lines are there on the production modell, but there are these significant changes that make it look like an ordinary car and not special like this concept. for example the grill wont be that big and its positioned more up. the cow sized doorhandles again, and these wide shoulders are not appearant in the final model. its just looks slitghtly better then the 6 series which we see now, but nothing special. though the M8 might be a different , i didnt see that yet.

Thanks yes you are right, this can be clearly noticed from the spy shots as well

Its sad that the company has such a potential in design, but simply chooses to be main stream.

That's expected. I assumed it would be based off a car like the new 6 or 7. Just tell me it has the presence of the concept, and I'm happy.

Yeah, the i3, i8, 5GT and X4/X6 are all so conventional.

How is it that you have gotten to see the production version? Any idea when it will be publicly unveiled (Frankfurt show in September)?

I guess the good news is that the production version exists, so hopefully it will be getting a full unveiling in the not too distant future. If it turns out to be anywhere near as beautiful as the concept car, I'll seriously consider it for my next car in 2018.
