330d Turbo fail, best map option please?

Hi,
Had my 2006 330d nearly a year now was all good until left work yesterday and under acceleration heard a noise so stopped immediately and had coolant pumping out. Thought it was just a water pump however turns out my turbo has actually came right off and had broke a water pipe in doing so.

Im going to buy a reconditioned turbo for around £450 (not the end of the world) however the garage say that it was probably the remap that caused the issue. The car was already mapped + dpf and egr before I brought it however the receipt for the remap AND dpf was only £175 which seems stupidly low.

Any thoughts on what to do after my new turbo is fitted? Im guessing a remap from evolve or emaps would be safer? Having it taken off is obviously safer but really couldn't drive an unmapped one now.

Also any other useful information about the issue?

Thanks
