Any special trick to unplugging oem flaps?

So, had the flaps open on a cold start - found the plug on the drivers side, but for the heck of me, I could not remove it - is there some trick to removing it? Definitely different from my M4 whereby it slid out relatively easy.
Thanks...

It should just slide out once you compress the clip section...at least it did for me.
