I ordered a replacement rear bumper and although I am positive I ordered the correct part and also supplied my VIN number, I can't help wonder if the holes to accommodate the PDC sensors are pre-drilled from the factory or would I have to pay the bodyshop to cut 4 holes for me? The online catalogs are very vague about this important detail.. I really hope I don't have to, for more so, accuracy sake..

I had ordered a bumper - it went from dealer to body shop - so I never saw it -but think they said holes were not pre cut because it's an option - I do think there are molded guide points on the inner bumper
I meant to imply pdc is an option so holes aren't cut out Last edited by overcoil; 05-17-2017 at 02:59 PM.. |

Thank you very much for your reply, I received the bumper today and there where no holes for the PDC sensors and I was freaking out for a sec, calculating return shipping cost in my head, when I saw your post. I guess now I have to inform the bodyshop of the PDC openings because I was planning to just have them paint it and install myself... |

Yeah pretty much every option your car is prepped for already. Similarly if you get base sound in a 3 with no rear tweeters the back of the door panel has marks, hole sizes everything stamped in the back. They make this stuff pretty idiot proof.
