It'd be nice to have a picture only thread.

Sometimes all you want to do is look at BMW pictures,without a lot of speed bumps I mean commentaries of menbers(me included) opining on everything from color to wheels,giving their approval or disapproval .
We already have these threads.We can start a thread with just E92 pics and another one with just e90 pics etc.
What do guys think?

What I was trying to say is that it'd nice to have in the "photo/Video/Media gallery" section a thread where you can have just pictures without people debating on what's the best color,wheels,interior trims etc.

Thinking about your idea a bit more, it would be interesting to see if people could keep with a ground rule of "pics only!" And for that matter, "on-topic pics only!"

I would love a thread with pictures only, no comments. Just a picture and a brief description of color combination, options, model, and any mods. For example, 330i, sparkling graphite, gray interior, auto, sport, premium, navigation, no mods.

Exterior shots from front, side, and rear angles, interior shots. It would be cool to be able to just look at various pictures of the E90.

I wonder if the admins can make some required fields for posting to certain threads. The thread could be special like a poll thread. If you were to tag the thread as pics only it would require posters to use the image upload field before it accepts the post. Just a thought

I wouldn't mind some writing by the person posting the picture. Most pictures are better with captions letting everyone know what is in the picture or what is important in the picture.

Sometimes it would be nice to have threads where there isn’t commentary & useless comments between picture posts. As in no comments from anyone not contributing to the photo thread. Silence the peanut gallery that clogs the photo threads.

In any case, e90Post has the best sets of photos of the e90 than any other site I've seen. Thanks to many members just about every angle/inch of every combination an e90 has been photographed and posted somewhere on this site.

I've see some forums where there is a picture only section. It's even arranged by thumbnails and what not and separated by categories (interior/exterior/mods) that sort of thing.

I think that would be an ideal solution for what you're looking for.
