Mechanic in NYC

Hey guys, I currently moved to NYC and I'm looking to buy an 335xi. Does anyone have any recommendations of who to go to for a pre-purchase inspection? Or a good mechanic where they could do all the work on my (future) car?

Matt at ZNM is a great resource for our cars, located in pompton lakes, NJ. If you're willing to trek, he's got lots of happy customers on this forum, including myself.

+1 for ZNM performance.

And G & T auto imports in jersey city is also good. I had a good experience during my recent visit.

I went to Matt @ZNM for walnut blast. He was very helpful/friendly. He even road-force balanced all 4 wheels and only charged me for one , thanks Matt

I went to G & T Auto imports for vehicle inspection. It was for the 2nd opinion (1st inspection was done at dealership @nyc and it was a rip-off

)

G & T owner was very friendly and even though i asked him to change few things, he said not needed until it's absolutely required.

Hey guys thanks for the suggestions will defs check them out. Is there any place in the city you guys have that come to mind? I'm currently carless so it might be a a little more trouble getting to places a bit far out.

OP, if you are around Queens or Long Island, I would advise to see MNC Performance in Oceanside Long Island

TNT in deerpark does great performance work
MNC in Oceanside is another good shop

Ryan & Randy at Camber Toe Performance in Lynbrook, NY

Picked up my 335i in 2008, and they've taken care of me since then (outside of warranty work).

Found them here in the local install shop thread. Their prices are great, and the few times I didn't order parts online, their prices were about the same as online. Plus, they're the most honest guys I've ever ever brought a car to, so that's why I keep going back.
