Catted downpipe on F22 with N26 engine

I would appreciate incite from someone that has installed a catted downpipe on an F22 with the N26 engine? Given the more restrictive N26 cat (vs the N20), it should add substantial HP above 5500 RPM. Any experience with CELs or emissions inspection in non-SULEV states would also be appreciated.

There is still a chance for a CEL with a catted downpipe. Some people get lucky and never get one, some people get one.

I have the n26 also so I did a little reading on it. I don't plan on moding my car, maybe after the warranty exspires, but probably not.

Anyway... If I did do somthing I would mod an n20 cat to fit the n26.

If you are really serious tho... I would think a high flow cat with a custom tune would keep you out of CEL zone, but I dont know that for sure. Need to find someone thats done it.

Oh yeah... it does suck knowing you are losing that much HP on the top end. I mean just the thought of it bugs me... But... you got to ask your self, how much time do you spend above 5500 RPM? Since I don't spend much time on the high end it bugs me less.

The car is still amazing

You will get noticeable power increase with downpipe on its own, that being said i would pair it with a tune to take full advantage
