What does hitting the B58 fuel limit feel like?

Using Active-8 at 75%+ throttle, I am seeing some mildly rough driving at or just after the peak of the B58 torque curve as if gears are grinding but no sound. Some people have said that it was caused by the fuel limit. What does hitting the B58 fuel limit feel like please?

With just the tune you should not be running into fuel limit issues. This is likely due to the tune's firmware. Make sure you update it if it works that way.

I get the same thing. If you are shifting gears, it could be the car going into torque management to protect the transmission (getting off the throttle before shifting with the auto will take care of that).

Once under hard acceleration onto the highway, it did that at about 6k rpm, doing 70MPH, it felt like it was bouncing off a rev limiter. I'm assuming fuel cap, but I to would like to know if that's what it feels like.

fuel cut feels like a misfire. the car will stutter and shake and you'll hear the pops in the exhaust.

Makes sense, torque management sounds like the culprit because I am not getting violent shakes nor pops just a rough patch where the transmission gears felt like they were struggling.

It feels like the engine power is being cut off and then abruptly coming back on. Only noticeable in 6k, 6.5k rpm ranger. What's actually happening is the DME lowering boost and retarding timing since there's insufficient fuel

mine doesn't cut or feel weird in any way, you just think it feels slow then look at the logs and yeah it's slow cause the dme isn't allowing much boost then the additive of jb4 gets it back to around stock levels.

That's happening when with you? Mods and fuel you are using? Map? I've only noticed it with map 7 and additive over 40.

BMW has a torque limiter, fuel limiter, DSC limiting cornering speeds, and what else?

No hardware mods, 93octane, any map under 50f ambient it's very apparent.
