Scratch removal in Boston???

Well, i got into an accident about a month ago and the driver's side door got scratched by a Merc. S500. The scratch looks pretty bad on my black car and it can be felt with my nails. I was wondering should i try one of those scratch removal or just go straght to a collision centre or some sort. If so, do you guys have any recommendations?

PS: i will try to see if i can post some picture tomorrow.

Where in MA do you live?

I can take a look at it and let you know if it is able to be wetsanded / compounded out or not. Usually if you catch your fingernail on the scratch it needs to be repainted, but you might get lucky.

If it cannot be removed by wetsanding / compounding, I can refer you to one of the best body shops in the state to have it fixed right.

Also, I will reply to your PM with some samples of my work later today as you requested.

Do you only fix scratches? Can you get out minor swirls and do details?

Hi cgillo,

I have a full service detail shop in Burlington, but would rather discuss this via e-mail because I do not want to violate forum rules and spam this board.

If you are interested, I can e-mail you la few links to some of my past work.

PM me your e-mail address

~Rick
