Black Betty got new shoes!

So after three years of rockin the 189's I decided to switch it up.. I've always liked the 19" BMW Performance Style 313's, so today, I got them lol..

They have the RFT's on them now, but those are gettin ditched Monday morning, just trying to decide which route I want to go.. I'm thinking 235/35 & 265/30 but I may also check into some 275's for the rear.. I'm on stock sport suspension with 15mm spacers on the rear..

One of my favorite oem wheels. Need to clean up or repaint those calipers next now that they're so visible!

Yeah I actually just ordered a G2 caliper paint kit in black, but I'm thinking about doing them a different color.. Maybe gun metal so they match the inner part of the wheels..

And thanks bro, I've also loved these wheels since day 1 lol..

One of my all time favorite rims. They're so clean and simple. Also the original raw aluminum silver color complements a black car very very nicely.

Thank you guys, I appreciate it..

I actually have the oem ones from my 189's but they aged pretty bad so a buddy gave me this since he wasn't using them, definitely a temporary fix.. I'll source out some fresh oem ones soon enough probably.. Had some family stuff goin on so my VTT GC install has even been delayed, so with the car not being #1 priority right now I've been a bit slow getting to my list of things to do with her lol.. I'm sure we've all been there once or twice..

Looks great - are you running spacers? Looks more aggressive than usual (a good thing)

Thanks brother, I appreciate it..

I have 15mm spacers on the rear, but all stock up front.. I tried a set of 10mm up front and it handled a bit weird.. It very well could have been the spacers, but I just felt it wasn't as accurate as before, so I removed them.. I may try another set, maybe even some 12mm to make it sit as flush as the back.. Plus they're on sale on Amazon right now lol..

Nice man, looks much better than stock stance! I may have to hunt down a pair of these and run spacers. I'm surprised 10mm affected handling that much

Looks great. I just went with 235/35 and 265/30 for my Style 225s. I hope to pick them up from the wheel/tire shop tomorrow and put them on my E91 soon. If you want photos of how the tires look on the wheels let me know.

On a black car, you should get some colour onto the calipers

Thank you I appreciate it.. And yeah most definitely post up some pics when you get a chance.. I'm thinking I'm gonna go with the 275/30's just to get a lil wider of a tire but I'm just waiting on a phone call this morning to see if the ones I want are still available..

Thank you! Yeah I'm happy that the 15mm push the wheels flush with the body, I was hoping they wouldn't stick out at all because those spacers were not fun to get off lol.. And yeah I actually just ordered a set of 12mm spacers, I'm thinking it was the spacer that was warped or something because I've read a ton of threads of people with front spacers and no issues..

When it comes to caliper paint just stick with black or grey. No need to make this a focus of the car.

Wheels will be the focus, and having some bright color caliper with an open rim like this will not look good, especially when calipers get really dirty.

Wheels are definitely a beautiful upgrade over 189s. For me it was between 313s and 359s, and I ended up with a 359 simply because they hid the brake components a bit better.

Congrats once again!

I agree with this, either silver or black (black preferably). I'm a strong believer in the only time the calipers should have color ,is if its a big brake kit. Even then I think the caliper should match the color of the car

Yes, I think the calipers shouldn't be bright unless they're big brake kits. I went with black.

Thanks again man I appreciate the input.. I'm just simply in the air on the color, because I already bought the black g2 paint kit, but I'm thinking maybe a gun metal color would look cool since that's the color of the inner part of the 313's..

Gun metal color would work. As long as it's some shade of grey or black I think you're within the safe zone.

I agree.. Probably go with a gun metal color.. I saw on youtube a video of someone who had their 313's inset areas painted black and left the faces the brushed aluminum, that looks pretty cool.. Don't know if I'm ready to de-face my new wheels just yet but now that I'm searching for painted calipers and stuff I'm finding other shit that's pretty cool to..
