Need to Modify? - w/LED Bulbs with heat sink fins

Who has experience with installing new LED bulbs for e90 (2006 325XI)? As we all know the headlight housing has an access cap, sealing the housing. How has anyone installed these, obviously the access cap will need to be modified? Just drill hole, cut a notch for wiring, add rubber gasket, and go with it? Or is there an H7 LED bulb out there that actually fits, heats sinks or fans? I can't find anyone describing what they have done. Looking for help or I'm exploring this on my own.

Drill the access cover for the wires then use a rubber grommet and/or silicone to seal it back up.

I haven't yet, had to replace my crankcase sensor first, what is your recommendation?
