Extremely LOW RPM Coasting?

Hello everyone,

So I just finished installing Jb4 to my 335...

MODS:
- Catless DP
- BMS Intake
- jb4 stage 2
- Resonator delete

So when I'm coasting .... my rpms fall below 1000 at times before it downshifts into a lower gear.....

I have done the gear adaption through the IACODER app a few times but it doesn't help....

Any ideas here..... it was fine before jb4 install.... I've tried updating jb4 to newest firmware no help.... removed it and still no help

you got the maf disabled with that setup right? That would probably cause issues like this.

Probably won't be the issue but since it's simple and quick to do, have you tried reverting back to stock intake? I know open box gives idle issues sometimes, might be related to your issue as well?

did you try removing the BMS intake? That is the reason you have to disable the MAF in the first place.

FWIW I have the AFE magnum for a few years now, no issue with idle surge/maf. BMS and Injen intakes you will see a thread now and then with people stating issues they have experienced.

Intake all the way, remove BMS, put on stock with a drop in K&N or Afe, and try again. Problems should be gone. Only thing you'll loose is spool noise, performance will feel the same for you

I am thinking that too but I've had this intake since I bought the car and it was fine at first..... throttle felt feather light and car launched right away

Now throttle feels heavy and car feels like it gained 1000 lbs.....

I don't have stock airbox since I bought the car like that :/

Why would it throw those codes though :/

So when I installed jb4 I accidently put the ground wire to another positive power source ... with all the sensors connected... this

So I fixed the TMAP ground but the car hasn't run the same ever since

Never ran a JB4 so I'm not quite sure. Interesting that this issue just came up even though you've had the intake on this entire time..I would check to make sure no connections came loose or were damaged in some way. Seems like the issue is electrical

This just started happening to me as well. I have MPPK intake box, catless dp and MPE with JB4 map 2. I thought it was just me but yea it gets around 1k or so coasting in comfy mode.

Yep and a jerky downshift cause rpms fall under 900....

I'm guessing one of my sensors are messed up at this point... it all happend after my older Jb4 shorter my TMAP and such
