I am trying to figure out which exterior trim option I should order on my G30 530e MSport - matt aluminum or chrome? Anyone seen them both? What would look best with Bluestone with the MSport package?

It's a preference I think

I have seen pictures and liked all... I nearly went for matt aluminium but I kept the black high gloss shadowline, and personally I think it looks great with Bluestone.

Now black with the dark Med Blue would be a fail, it needs a contrast

Side windows and air vents ( or whatever they are called) behind the front wheels.

I'd get the high gloss shadowline, but out of the two you asked about, I'd take the matt aluminum.

I might have gone for shadowline on a white or all black car. I agree that matt aluminum is probably the best alternative, even though I have chosen chrome. Might have to give my dealer a call on monday, though I fear it´s too late.

I ordered bluestone with Black highgloss and jetblack wheels and I think it would be perfect.

Guys the chrome grill is possible to replace only for black M performance one right? Anyone knows its price ? For example OEM on F30 is about 60 dollars but I dont know.. I will have new car (guarantee?)

My take, I think especially if you have gone msport is the black shadowline.

I personally think it contrasts with the lighter bodywork colour.

I've chosen this colour for my forthcoming car and I don't think photographs do it justice. (they also portray it inaccurately as well - if underexposed it looks more blue than it really is. and in this shot there is a large display to the left of the car with predominetly blue colour so it makes it looks more blue than it really is.)

I prefer chrome or polished aluminum trim but it's one of the occasions that I must admit matte trim is looks nicer and suits well in accordance with the general appearance of the car and your car is definitely fitting in this case

I ended up with chrome as it was too late to change my order. I am very pleased. Might regret side by side with the other trims.It plays well with Bluestone and the the tinted rear windows. Gives the car some sparkle. Will try to post some photos.
