Seat belt not retracting well

The passenger seat belt in my car is not retracting strongly.

It does retract, but does so slowly and weakly.

Anyone know of a fix for this?

I found this fix on youtube but I'm not sure if it'll work:

I find it hard to believe that (according to that video) it doesn't retract due to being dirty from oils/greases from your body?

Who drives around nekkid? And even if you did - how oily does one have to be for that to happen

More than likely the retract spring in the mechanism is getting weak, or the belt is twisting when retracting and jamming

Other people have mentioned using silicone spray on the seatbelt.

I'm a little hesitant to do that. It might just gum it up worse.
