In total, which exhausts are available?

Do we have a list of available exhausts anywhere? Will a 328i exhaust fit? it looks like the bends and hangers are in the same place

There is no 'list' for several reasons, but the main one is that the N20/228i wasn't near the development platform that the N55/M235i was.

That said, first you need to specify if you're referring to the N20 (228i/328i/428i, etc.) or B46 (230i/330i). Since you reference the 328i, I'll assume you mean the N20.

Next, you need to specify if you mean axle-back, midpipe-back, or downpipe-back "full" systems. Some makers (example: Fabspeed) do full systems; some (Armytrix) do a midpipe-back only; some (Dinan) axle-backs with a separate midpipe available ...

... And all that is exclusive of the catted/catless downpipe a number of companies make separate from the rest of whatever exhaust is installed -- in fact, a number of N20 owners run one of these with the OEM exhaust.

So, to start you off: the 328i M Performance exhaust does fit the 228i with two mods: one very slight hanger mod, and a small pipe-diameter mod where the system meets the OEM midpipe. The latter is best done via weld and by a muffler shop or better.

For the rest: I'd read through some of the threads and take an inventory. Exhaust products for the N20 are scattershot, at best.

Sorry to hear that you do not like it ... Its is the most popular choice for F30 328 .. We sold a couple for 228 and got really good reviews.

I ordered the 328i M performance exhaust, as in my opinion it sounded the best. Wasnt priced terribly at $809 shipped on a local BMW Dealer's ebay account.

Got it in the mail already and stuck a borescope in it, it's completely different than the regular exhaust, not just covered holes as the *35 exhausts are. BMW put in a lot of work to make this sound nice.

We're about to get dumped with a foot of snow so it'll be a little while until i put it on...

Anyone wondering, to fit the 328i exhaust, the tips have to be cut around 1" each and the exhaust has to be cut about an inch and a half from the dimple. Otherwise it fits

Just had the Dinan High Flow exhaust installed on my 228 with the N26 engine. It's AMAZING! It adds this rumble at idle, you can hear the turbo spooling, blips during shifts, crackles and pops when pushing it... I'm extremely happy with it. If I get a chance I'll make a video of it. Highly recommend the Dinan exhaust!

I just ordered a performance Dinan muffler for my 228ix from Turner. It is a little milder than yours.

It could be because I have the Dinan Sport Tuner module installed, so I have +4.0 PSI boost on my turbo. Going to do the full Stage 1 soon :-)

Not a full system by any means but I have a 235 muffler bypass exhaust by fabspeed on my 228i. My local shop wouldn't stop talking about how flawless the design and finish was on the product. There was some cutting involved and a slight mod but it looks great, sounds deep, and I do feel it when driving.

Grabbed a diffuser from turner. The bolts pop right out from stock diffuser and 235 one fits like a glove.

Will be going with a Wagner downpipe soon as well.

Thanks to Mike @ ExtremePowerhouse for setting me up.
