My coupe is starting production this month so I'm just doing research in anticipation for April delivery.

I like the look of the black grills. Do people usually order them online and get them installed at the dealership or can any body shop do it?

Or can I buy them somewhere in Vancouver or Richmond?

What are the costs ( grills and install)?

You could order them online or through the dealership.

Through the dealership, the price will probably be $200 + installation, or around there.

FWIW, I'm ordering my through dealer parts dept for installation pre-delivery. Same with a few other M Perf bits.

May I ask which dealership? This is basically my first car (others are hand me downs, etc) so I didn't know about the black grills until after I settled on the price. They wouldn't even throw in the all weather mats!

I looked at the parts online and most parts are for the m series. I don't think I want to do it myself. I'm good at taking things apart but I can imagine things not lining up properly when I put things back together.

I came to them with exactly what I wanted, other than wavering between M240i xdrive and M2.
