My 3 litre car is better than your 2 litre!?
Simple answer, yes of course it is.
But surely this forum is not about that, and we are all in different cars for different reasons but every now and then a guy in a 3 litre will make his presence known with a pathetic remark. Are people really that sad, all over my post that said I really didn't like the M Performance key case? http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1349934 What annoys me is, 99% of people here including the most respected and knowledgeable members who have seen it all still dont say things like this. Are some people just born, simply to be complete w*nkers? |

Totally agree mate. Each to their own, weather you have 2 ltr or 3 ltr is irrelevant, the whole reason we come on these forums is to learn stuff about the cars we love. I would love an m3, but can justify that much on a car at the moment, but im sure 99% of the guys with m3's wouldnt think im any lesser just because i have a 3ltr.
There are plenty of idiots out there, but what goes around comes around mate, its called karma |

Of course everybody's taste is different, it is your car and money, so enjoy it how you like it! You can never please everyone, what might look tacky to you, someone else might like and we are all adults so should respect each others choices regardless of our approval or dislikes
Enjoy your weekend chaps

To be fair, in a sales thread you wrote "I used mine for all of a few hours, what a load of crap. Cant even be arsed to sell it lol". Not entirely helpful!
and you had gone on to say "Perhaps you should not be such a twat, and let people do what they want. Cock." in response to another dig, So while the 2 litre comment would be out of order by itself, in the context of handbags at dawn, it seems fair enough! |

As it happens, I have to agree regarding the key case. Nice looking thing but the key is chunky enough as it is, without the extra bulk.

Bless, someone's feathers are all ruffled so he had to start a new thread so he could bleat and whine to all his acolytes. You can dish it out but can't take it, can you?
You sad individual.

Liam, read this post and read it again until it sinks into your treacly morass of a brain. I'm off out, enjoy your afternoon. Might be worth binning the thread to save you looking like a bit silly later on. Your call.

Mate you've both been as bad as each other, you said something that wasn't meant badly, but could be taken badly, Drek took it badly and reacted, and now you're both caught is a cycle of willy waving as neither can just apologise and be grown up about it. Let's stop being silly.

This got crazy fast! In fairness dick/drek is a keyboard hard man who can hide behind his username and throw insults out. Iv been insulted by the bloke in the past so I just remind myself that he's probably got one of those personalities that people hate. In terms of 3L vs 2L willy waving I am now in that common 6 cylinder club so naturally I see everyone with 4 cylinders as peasants . I only joke with you mate but to be fair you only insulted something that you have and don't like but he got very personal very quick.

I wasn't going to post, but then thought that I would put my opinion in..... Welcome or not....
I've frequented plenty of car forums over the years as I'd class myself as a proper petrolhead, however in all my time I have never experienced such 'dick waving' contests as I have on this forum. In actual fact, the 'I've got a 35d / 30d' & 'you've only got a 20d' comments are both tiring & quite frankly immature at the best of times. Its the sort of willy waving I would expect on a Corsa forum - 'I've got a bigger exhaust' so mine must be better. Really, I would have expected the conversation on this forum to have been a bit more grown up. I've got a lovely 320d M Sport, I don't care that its not a 30d or 35d as it does the job I bought it for. So what??!?! Doesn't mean I have to justify why I bought it instead of a 30d or 35d. I also find it quite funny that most with the larger engined cars talk of monthly finance payments & when they can chop it in for a new one. Well, mine may only be a 20d but I own it, not a finance company. |

Bloke tries to sell something on legit thread in classifieds. One bloke laments missing the sale, three more blokes express interest and item is then sold to a keen buyer. Mr M Performance then trolls along onto the Classified thread and rather helpfully says: Quote:

Now then. If you read my posts jolly carefully you'll see that at no point did I criticise his car I merely described it but what I did do is tweak his emotional levers. It's not difficult to see that he's jolly proud of his car and is turning it into a living, breathing testament to the M Power brand which is somewhat at odds with the engine under his bonnet but the mere mention of this sent him into an entirely predictable toy-throwing frenzy as evidenced by this thread. Fundamentally, and despite Liam's assertion, my car is no better or worse than anyone else's but what it is, is fit for my purpose. I have bought it for the way that I want to use and also because my wallet allows me to. I couldn't give a flying monkey what anyone else drives, V12 or a 1.4 litre diesel, it's of zero interest or consequence to me. The key differences between Liam and me are:
