Are there any reviews out yet for the Dinan turbo upgrade on the M2? Not looking for hp, torque and cost info which is available everywhere but rather video of an actual test drive. Thanks!

Look for a Smoking Tire review soon. Dinan said on its FB page the car was headed to ST for a review this next week. Same guy reviewed their M235i kit...

Add a catted downpipe to those numbers and you are at about 400/410 to the wheels. That is fine with me.

Well, my Dinan Dude tells me that the kit with my name on it shipped today. Should get it Friday.

That sounds better than it is, though, because I'm not putting it in until I get the break-in service done, and that's a few miles still. No sense in installing and then not being able to hammer it. But the Fabspeed catted 200 cell DP is waiting in my basement. I'm going to have the Dinan dealer put it in when he installs the kit.

To be clear, this is not the full P2 package. I'm getting the big turbo, the piggy, the intake and the IC. Not getting the exhaust, but am putting in the Fabspeed DP.

So that should be fun. I need to find ways to rack up miles soon or I will go nuts here

Definitely interested in checking it out once you get the install done. I finally cracked 1170 this week and have my 1200 scheduled for next Fri!

As for miles, I've been taking advantage of every single sunny, dry day thus far! Tomorrow is another one, then it's rain all week

Without work, I'd have been there long ago. Of course, without work, I also would not have been able to buy the car. So it has its ups and downs

That would be difficult for me to do, depending on what you mean by "rattle." Cold start is sort of loud and obnoxious, a bit raspy (although nothing like the f80/82 ) Settles down nicely in 15-20 seconds or so...

What I really want to see is a before an after dyno for the Dinan. Would have a better idea of value with that info. Regardless, the car in stock form is a blast on the road and on the track.

I believe they posted a dyno sheet for the M2 on their website showing before and after.

Yeah I think you are right. I should have been more clear. I would like to see a before and after on a some other dyno's out in the wild. Not that I don't trust Dinan, just nice to see what others come up with.

I have the MPE rattle for the first 3s or so of cold start (just the first start of the day). I need to do a video of it
