I'm liking the G30 appearance in pix.
Withholding final judgement for in person. And yes, I wish the G30 was E39 proportions too - but then I'd need to buy a 3'er lol!

Compared to the F10
its only 8mm wider (0.315 inches) and 44mm longer (1.73) And thats mostly due to the bumper design

I think it's 37mm longer, 4899mm f10 vs 4936mm g30.

G30 is 4943mm according to my docs im looking at
EDIT: Interesting, I see the BMW.de website says 4936mm Wonder why the technical docs show different ? M Sport vs regular bumper ?

Looks great from the side, but front grill and rear tailights are overstyled a bit.
Overall still best looking midsize sedan by far. The new E is hideous by comparison. |

I saw the new 7er yesterday and it doesn't look as bulky in person. I doubt the 5 series will look huge either.
Really hoping for more steering feel in the new generation. Also, hope that the new 6 series will break more ground in weight loss and driving dynamics.
