Extended warranty + upgraded turbos
Has anyone successfully utilized their aftermarket warranty (Route 66 or other) to upgrade their turbo's? Obviously they warranty will only pay for OEM replacements but I am wondering if someone has been able to apply that money + cash to buy aftermarket turbos. I think my turbos are on the way out and just wanting to know what my options are because I have an extended warranty.
It would be great to have the labor covered and only pay the difference from OEM to VTT or Pure stage 2. I am not looking to commit any sort of insurance fraud. respond here or PM me if you have a success story to share. Thanks!
