Injen intake question: salt spray on engine cover

Ok so: I love the sound, material quality, etc. From the two intakes above the radiator, only one directly feeds the cone intake. The other directs salt laden slush toward the engine! Not a lot, but there's salt stains on the engine cover and nearby. Any similar experience or solutions? Should I just ignore it? There's belts and wires and such that should not be salt watered. I've considered blocking that side of the intake... Any thoughts?

Are you sure it's salt and not residue from a coolant leak ?

It's salt

It's also snaking down the injen piece that leads to the cone filter. Luckily that piece everlaps the alternator, which is directly below it. The second pic is inside the injen air intake diverter that leads to the filter. There's no scoops or anything additional in front of the radiator that would direct the salty spray upwards. Anyone else experience this?
