Curious if BMW intends to offer a base, non luxury, non msport car?

I happen to love the look of non msport- but less
Chrome on the bumper would be great.

Old 535 offered this- and then luxury and msport. Did they do away with base?

A Base with upgraded wheels would be great in the US- I'm not a fan of that chrome surrounding the front air intake...

Thats why I asked which country

In some you have to choose from packages, in others you can fit almost anything to almost any model.

Right- I'm looking for a concrete answer for US.

On the order guide it states luxury is standard.

But is there a way to get no cost base? That's th real question.

It does not seem there will be an option to get the base line. All 530i and 540i will come standard with Sport Line but it will be most likely a no cost option to switch to Luxury Line. That is what the order guide indicates.

Maybe less chrome?

So 540 will have sportline, msport, luxury?

I'd rather have black accents then the chrome. I'll have to see it in the flesh.

Sport is standard in the US. Fog lights are also standard, so most likely it will look like the Sport picture E90FLeet posted in post #2 of this thread.

No, as the tile says it is a BASIS model.
Basis = base.

I am swaying between a 540 sport and a 340 m sport.

I love that bmw got rid of the hood line on the new 5.

But I also love the style and size of the 340...
