I have an android phone and driving a BMW F30 2012.

How can I make spotify start automaticly when I'm switching to bluetooth while driving.
If I have spotify paused in the background on my phone, it will start to play. But if not, there is an audiobook app that I have, that always start to play.
If I uninstall the audiobook app, noting happens (unless spotify is running in the background, and then spotify starts)
Is there a way to make spotify the "default" app for this? I don't want to have to fiddle on my phone while driving..

I understand this is a android question, but maybe some of you have the answer?

look at tasked (android app) it can let you set rules/triggers. I used poweramp which was set to play downloaded music once connected to specified Bluetooth source. hope this helps you

So I've tried several different "Tasker" apps. Many of them didn't work for me.
But A2DP worked fine, so I'm using this for now.

Hopefully spotify will update their app so it can be recognised as a music app by android in the future.

I too would like to know this. It automatically opens poweramp but I want soundcloud or mixcloud
