how to run e85
what does it take to run e85 besides the jb4? would mixing 85 with 91 (having a jb4) blow my fuel pump? if its do able, would you recommenced upgrading the fuel pump?

Start by adding 30% E85. Switch JB4 to map 5. Done.
For higher mixtures of E85 you'll need to upgrade your LPFP and add a back-end flash.

The stock pump starts to crap out around 40% ethanol (E40). I'd start with 30% ethanol (not 30% E85 as mentioned above) and do a log and see how the LPFP pressures look.
My pump was right on the edge with E40 so I upgraded to the Fuel-It Stage 2 pump just to be safe.

I would start with 20% E85 not 30% ... We need to know how healthy your fuel pumps are before putting more pressure on them

E85 will not blow your fuel pump. The stock pump just can't keep up with the higher fuel demand required when running a mix. I have run E30 on the stock fuel pump and all the way to E65 with a stage 1 pump.
