Electric cut out exhuast

hey guys what are thoughts on the electric cut outs I do know they can get stuck here and there and if not done right they can be fiiniky but just want to know the general thoughts on it or if anyone is running it

had them on my old 335i. wasnt worth it as it droned so much when fully opened.
