Finally some logs. Now what?
Hi everyone, I was finally able to get some logs, but not too sure what is supposed to be looked out for. IMO boost/target is good enough so I think everything is ok.
However, in my first two pulls I had trouble shifting and for some reason I just wouldn't go, as if turbos ceased to work. I eased off the throttle and then went ok. On my way back, the second log, I think it happened again (I forgot) Third pull was ok Last pull I think was best, I did however, shift too quickly out of third ;( Anyway... am I safe? Lol last one: http://datazap.me/u/diox/log-1481849132?log=0&data=1-4 first three http://datazap.me/u/diox/log-1481849099?log=0&data=1-4 |

Oh god what have I done. I feel like I read somewhere that I can go e30 without a problem... so I did. (I know, terrible but I'm glad nothing dangerous happened to me...) Imma fill up 93 next time I drive. (My flex fuel wires are on the way ._.) Yes I am on map 2. I can't go map 5 as I don't like going WOT on highway, not enough space. I just had time today to go over a empty, wide bridge . |

Do Not Go Wide Open With This Tune
You need to undo anything you did. I haven't followed you or your mods but you will, and I repeat WILL, melt a piston if you continue to drive the car this way.

If you run 93 you should be fine running map 2 with no E85. You can not run E30 unless you have the FF wires installed. Burn off this tank of gas and fill up with 93.

Alright, is it better to burn off the tank and then fill up 93? I usually fill up @ 1/4 I'm a little under 1/2 right now. I'm gonna go map 0 till I get the gas out and pray I didn't fuck anything up |

Switch back to Map 0 immediately! Use that to burn off the E30 and try to stay out of boost.

The way you worded it sounded like you were in drive rather than manual. It's lean because thats how the JB4 is. When you install the FF wires it may help a bit. You are less lean than before which is good.

Okay so today I opened it up to install my FF, and apparently my swapped out harness already has it included ; but it got too dark to mess around with the strut bar and rear cover to actually plug it in. I took her out to log some more stuff after fueling up with 93 again, 3 wot attached is the last one shifting through the gears from a stop. http://datazap.me/u/diox/log-1482291789?log=0&data=1-4 On my first run (not even, just before I tried it) i noticed my service light came on (I disabled auto-clear). So I read it and it was 2EF3 and 1063 (JB4 app); I hit delete (didn't know it clears it); so I went for my pulls. (light didn't come on until a bit after I finished with codes 2EF2 and by then I noticed I was thrown into map 4) I drove for about an hour and checked with my OBDII and all i got was P0420 (catless) so what gives? TL;DR map 5 wot logs have codes from jb4: 2EF3 (cyl 5 misfire) paired with 1063 once, and 1062 once (wtf are these?) 2EF2 (cyl 5 misfire) Only thing I noticed during my pulls was some slight lag between shifts (but still went and went afterwards) |

Upload your .csv over at n54tech. Don't use Datazap over at N54tech though.

Just to anyone who happens to be searching for shit like this sometime in the future like I have many times:
1- Post your .csv to N54tech 2- Update your JB4 to latest ISO 3- Install FF(although since I was only running 93, the update did the trick) After I updated the JB4, the codes have not returned after several hard pulls and honestly, it just feels a lot smoother when i'm driving normally. It is fantastic. So check your versions! |
