Wheel balancing weights
Is it me or does the addition of wheel weights appear to be disproportionately heavy compared to the potential imbalance of a wheel & tyre combo?
Surely these things aren't that far out from the factory?? And if the answer is "it's to offset the effect of the valve", then you'd expect them to either right adjacent to it or diametrically opposed which they seem not to be. Just curious.

Because they're no longer made of lead. There always looks to be way too many nowadays.
