FBO + inlets tune

I'm FBO +inlets running 94octane (no e85 here) - currently running MHD stage 2+ (No JB4)

Is a custom tune worthwhile? If so, any recommendations?

I had PTF do a tune for me when I was running Cobb (tune only) and the improvement over OTS was huge

Advice appreciated

Was the PTF tune based on/compared to stage2+fmic aggressive? How do you like MHD compared to Cobb?

I had the PTF tune (Dzenno) on when I had no other modes, tune only. When I switched to MHD tune only I noticed a slight drop in performance (logs showed less boost with similar timing) as expected from an OTS tune.

I think I'm leaving some performance on the stable if not going custom tune and wanted this confirmed and some options who I can work with using MHD

Custom tune with inlets vs mhd stage 2+ made a big difference with my car. Wedge performance helped me out, you can send him an email. Be sure your car is 100% up to it or you will break stuff

+1 for a custom tune at this level

So you're basically saying that Cobb outdid the MHD due to less boost than the Cobb (I'm ASSuming Stg 2 Aggressive)?

I thought the MHD was supposedly better in respect to boost (I thought it would do higher numbers)?

What gives?? Or am I misunderstanding you??

A proper pro-tune is always better than an OTS tune.

You're way confused.

The devices you use to apply the tune won't make a difference at those power levels; if you want to compare OTS map vs OTS map that's one thing, but to say Cobb offers more boost than MHD or vice versa is way out in left field.

If you're looking for an excuse to dump your AccessPort just read up on the MHD thread or do some more research as it relates to comparing the two.

Get a pro tune or jb4 and tune based on the logs.
