ConnectedDrive Login?
Took delivery of my M240i last weekend and didn't receive any information on ConnectedDrive. I contacted BMW Canada and they said to contact my dealer. I emailed a genius at the dealership but so far he hasn't been much help. He's given me what he says is my login username and password, but no clue as to where I actually enter these. The US has this page:
https://connecteddrive.bmwusa.com/cd...n?locale=en_US Every developed country in the world appears to be covered by this page: https://www.bmw-connecteddrive.com/c...selection.html Except Canada. So, do you guys know the secret (even to BMW Canada, it seems) login page?

Login via your idrive, through the ConnectedDrive option.
That said, nothing works e.g. connecteddrive store....I've been trying for nearly a year to get connected. Tried new IDs new passwords...etc If you get it all working, please let me know how you managed to get it sorted.

Actually, the truth is that BMW has chosen to treat us like second class customers and not make most of these features available to Canadians. It's inexcusable in my view.

When I picked up my car the BMW Genious gave me a password and told me which app to download. It's pretty neet. I can on my iPhone check how much range I have currently, lock the doors, unlock the doors, sound the horn, blink my headlights, precondition the car (turn on vents right away or set a time for them to turn on.) You can also see on a map where you are and where your car is. You can also through the app look up an address or location and then have it sent to your cars nav.
Overall it's not the most incredible app on the market now but it's pretty good to me. I suggest you guys contact your sales person and try it out. Good luck! |
