On3 Performance Manifold

I'll be doing an in depth review of this kit but here are a few manifold pics before I get it all wrapped up.

To add I've been in the modified car scene for over 20+ years and have seen alot of garbage. This manifold does NOT fall in that category.

Enjoy

That looked nice. I'm glad someone's taking good pictures of the kit.

Is this only available as part of a kit or can you buy it on its own?

It's still a nice kit,no matter how you cut it.This is a nice kit compared to the other kits, with room to grow. You will have good results with this from what I've read,I haven't seen one on a e60,good luck and waiting for results

Wrapping complete. This took 33ft of wrap. Way more then I expected.

Thanks man. I used additional zip ties to keep everything tight. It certainly was challenging.

Is there a brace supplied? Seems like a lot to expect that single pipe to support the weight of the turbo on its own...

that thing looks like it will crack after some miles get put on it. That manifold needs a brace asap.

Its constructed from heavy schedule stainless piping. There is absolutely no need for bracing.

Every N54 manifold has schedule piping this isn't anything new. Sch10 cracks sch 40 cracks all that weight from the turbo being held on from that angle is going to crack. Robotic welds are going to crack i seen this plenty of times.

This picture right here where the piping overlaps the collectors is going to crack if you do not put a brace on it.

wastegate design isn't good for spool neither. This is why these manifolds do not spool well as others on the market.

Proper placement

Thanks for sharing the pics! It's nice that there's good quality parts coming out that meet a wide variety of budgets. I wouldn't run their wastegates though, spend a few hundred more and get some reliable ones. I've seen a lot of examples of theirs not functioning properly.

I'm not going to go into fluid dynamics with anyone on this forum that's for sure. If we're stating facts I will state i'm a mechanical engineer of 18 years now and this manifold is well designed regardless of what the little illustrations show. This post wasn't to start a pissing match it was purely to put info out there for everyone to make there own opinions on.
