Chris Harris M2 vs modified 1M (His own) video

http://www.topgear.com/videos/chris-...s-bmw-1m-coupe

Was expecting an all out 1M is superior in every way review, but Chris kept it real and as objective as a 1M owner can be. Good stuff

I think there will be an M2 ZCP package in the future that will give a quicker steering ratio. The 1M was planned to have a short production run so they didn't hold back.

He bought his 1M recently after driving the M2!

He was not a 1M owner until about 4 weeks ago. Just clarifying. Your comment sounds like he can't be completely objective because he is a 1M owner.

To reiterate, he drove and loved the M2, before deciding there was still something he liked more in the 1M more before buying it.

This is important to note and I feel exactly like him. I bought a 1M new in 2011 and sold in 2013. I waited patiently for F80 M3, M235i and M2. I was #1 on the list for M2, but I also felt like Chris, there was something extra special about 1M that numbers alone don't explain. I gave up my spot for M2 and bought a used 1M again for more money than I paid for my first 1M and basically what a new M2 cost. So while I was a 1M owner, I had already sold it and would've been easier and cheaper to just buy a new M2 with Euro Delivery, warranty and service, but there are some special things about the 1M that a few of us still really appreciate without taking anything away from the M2.

I'm aware of that, but thank you for the clarification
