Plasti Dipped OEM wheels
The dreaded time has come to switch out my aftermarket wheels mounted with PSSs for the stock grey wheels mounted with run craps. Sooo, to make it a bit more palatable I experimented by "plasti dipping" the wheels hyper black. I'm not a big fan of car fads...the murdered look in this case, I guess its called...but I have to admit I like it, at least for the dark days of winter. Did the same for my C2S lobster claws.

Thanks for the comments. No close-up pics. I can tell you that "dipped" wheels are not going to look like they've been factory finished. Mine has some orange peal. (Hell, so doesn't the factory finish on the body.) That likely has something to do with my spray technique. Regardless, I do not care. You can't see it from beyond a few feet and the dip peals off when the time comes. I encourage to try it, if for no other reason than a change of pace, to keep things interesting, what-have-you. BTW, I find you only been two cans of the base and two cans of the top color to do four wheels. Dip Your Car will try to sell you four and three, respectively, or seven in total. Happy spraying.
