I have been looking for a brighter bulb kit for my 2016 228i coupe and I think I may have found one:

Has anyone tried these? If so, was it an easy installation or do I need to have a pro installation?

hey there, do you have standard halogen housing?

I do, and I used the OPT7 LED H7 Fluxbeam kit for about 2 months now and it works great for me

Yes I do. I have seen a good number of reviews concerning the OPT7 kit and have been considering it.

How difficult was it to install? I took a look under the hood and it looks pretty tight.

Using the same kit. Install was pretty easy, but couldn't figure out how to reattach the metal clip which holds the bulb into the housing at first till a friend showed me how. Second bulb literally took a minute to install.
