OEM vs Aftermarket
According to BMW, painting their M-performance diffuser is not possible, as the material is not paint adhesive. Because of this I started looking on ebay for non-OEM f22 products and came across a wide selection of interesting items.
Whilst I generally prefer OEM over Aftermarket parts/accessories, there's just too much choice on eBay at more reasonable prices. On a general basis, what is the general consensus for f22 Aftermarket parts & what are the recommended brands/ the one's that should be avoided? |

Pretty sure the dealer or BMW lied to you about painting the diffuser. I just got mine painted without any issues and I have seen several others get it painted too. Should look to get a second opinion from a paint shop which can hopefully help
