Spacers on VMR CSLs

Does any1 find the 19" ET40 on the front too inset? who has used spacers on them? Personally i dont want to use them hearing about the safety issues some people have had and feel thats the whole point of getting new rims so that they wud be flush looking from the outset, no messing around

if u have used them, what size?

I am having the same issue like you. The 19" et 40 front looks a little tucked in. All you need is a 5 mm spacer with longer wheel bolts for a more flush appearance, but I have yet to do it myself.

You can do a 5mm spacers like akack said in the front if it's not far out enough for you. We also regularly stock the spacers with the bolts so it's an easy part to find.

You'd want to put a 5mm spacer to get it to a 19x8.5 ET35 - that would be flush and safe without rubbing.

Most, if not all, 235/35/19 tires will fit with a +35 offset on a 8.5" wheel with out rubbing on a E9x.

I feel they are tucked in a bit but am not willing to run spacers... wish there was a native ET35.
