Why would you want to have a "look" you can't see when you drive it, and is a perfect invite for someone to NOT see you in time due to darker tint.

Yeah I know its all personal...and to each his own. If that's what you want when you stand back and admire this fine car, then its your call for sure.

BUT besides the legalities, I would prefer those lights to be brighter personally. And a sequential top/window brake light might be a better use of money. ANYthing to keep people behind me from hitting me in the traffic.
But that's just one view...no pun intended.

It is a low or hate affair. Some people like it, some do not!

Just make your choice. I liked it but when the gloss CF diffuser was fitted I removed them.

Isn't the lamin-x light tint about the same as a blackline which have been very popular on e90s and e82s. Think it might actually look good on BSM. Has to be very light tint though. Brighter LEDs can compensate for any small reduction in VLT.

Slightly off topic but at what vlt does one consider a film a tint? 90? 80? 70? Many people put clear film on their headlights for protection and to prevent discoloration. Vlt of clear film is close to but <100 isn't it?
