I had it done and then I got access port. I think it is a waste of money and you would be better off getting a different tune and for less money I think. I got the PPK when they were very expensive

So do I but check my build thread and I've still had the turbo's replaced etc under warranty.

Get a JB4 and then you can just turn it off as and when required.

Are you friendly with a dealer Raj or the just didn't ask/look?

Read quite a bit on MHD and it seems like a very good way to tune. Do you have MHD? If so what's the stage 1 maps like?

Not yet.
Got some issues to sort out with the car before I tune it.

My brother had it on his n54. Bmw performance pkg S2. Included a extra auxiliary cooler on drivers side, exhaust and ppk tune. It popped, and popped alot on down shifts and slow up shifts. Other than that it almost felt like stock. Once he went jb4 and intakes he completely forgot he even had a ppk on there, it did make the popping alot less now with the jb4 installed. Probably mostly due to the wastegate menus adjusted

I do have a very good relationship with my dealer, so that may well help a bit, but the only time they wouldn't cover something is if the issue is directly attributable to the mod in question. I had the Akra exhaust, AR catted DP's, intakes, and other bits too but they still covered the replacements of the turbo's under warranty.

Don't get me wrong some dealers can be really arsey and refuse or try to make you just pay for fixes so certainly don't take it as gospel but with the JB4 for example (that I have) I just turned it off and no questions asked about mapping etc.
