[video] FBO 335i Rev & Launch

Leaves are at their peak color so it seemed appropriate to break out the tripod for a little YouTube vid.

The car crackles a lot less when in COMFORT mode. These are DSC OFF revs, with a Launch Control takeoff.

Relevant mods: MPPK -plus Enzo tune; Akrapovic Evolution exhaust; Enzo downpipe; ER intercooler; ER charge pipes (both sides); Dinan intake; custom spark plugs; Michelin PSS.

Great video, esp the audio quality.

But what is custom spark plug? Like you custom machined your own plugs? Or just got different sets of plugs?

Enzo used a different plug when they tuned the motor. Honestly I don't even know what they chose but I know the temp is different.

Thanks for noticing the audio quality. As a trained Audio Engineer it would be embarrassing if I failed in this regard! Lol

Figured I'd upload the other video I captured.

In this take I just roll the throttle in DSC OFF mode instead of using Launch Control. I also stay on 3rd gear a bit longer than the first take.

This clip also keeps the trip back towards the cul-de-sac so you can hear the car approaching from a distance. I'm on the throttle, but short shifting on the way back. This would be typical "spirited driving."

We all show up between 6 and 8pm. It will be a blast if the weather holds up. By the way, love your f30 and the sound.
