E90 LCI Non-M foglight mod?

Other than changing the bulbs.

Is there any modification that can be done to the E90 LCI non-M foglight?

I really want to bake them open and see if I can fit a mini projector in there with some HIDs. there's plenty of room behind the housing. Also toying with the idea of getting rid of them all together and just putting in some mesh.

No I have HID bulbs in them so it actually makes it safer for other drivers and it's not super dark. It's a light gray.

Check the retrofit source for projectors!

yeah you can get projectors cheap off any of the China apps like alibaba.. there's a company that has already done it but I forget what company and I didn't like their outcome too much.. the ring was weird

Yep TRS is great, already running their HID kit in there but it's not very subtle or even necessary since I put in their 4500k D1S bulbs in the headlights and aimed them properly.
